Assign users to your feed
π₯ Assigning Access to Student Feeds
Rosters (Recommended)
Assigning a roster automatically gives all students in that roster access to the feed.
If your roster changes (students added/removed), the feed updates automatically β no manual changes needed.
If a student is removed from the roster, they instantly lose access to the feed.
Individual Students
You can assign students one-by-one.
Useful for custom groups, tutoring groups, or special announcements.
Rosters are recommended for long-term use because they stay in sync.
π§βπ§ Assigning Access to Guardian Feeds
Individual Guardians
You can manually assign any guardian at your school to the feed.
Best for targeted communication to specific families.
Using Rosters
While you cannot create rosters of guardians, assigning a student roster will automatically include all guardians linked to those students.
Any guardian attached to a student in that roster will automatically get access to the feed.
If a guardian or student is updated in your school data, access updates automatically.
π οΈ Configuring Your Feed
