Upload Students, Staff or Guardians

  • Select which type of user to import and click the blue Next button

  • Drop your CSV file into the blue box or click Browse to search your computer for your file

    • If you don't have a file to upload you can download our template by clicking the blue Download Template button and fill it with the necessary data

    • Files have a maximum size limit of 10MB and must not contain any special characters otherwise the file will fail to upload

  • Each user type has required headers that need to be mapped to the headers in your file for it to successfully be imported. Under each listed header, click the dropdown and select the most applicable option to be mapped to

  • Click Next to go to the Review step

  • There are two views on the Review step, the Records to upload view and the Records with errors view. The Records to upload view displays all rows from your file regardless of validity. The Records with errors view only shows rows with invalid data

  • To attempt to fix any invalid data you may either click on the valid data itself, which is identifiable by red text along with an exclamation point icon, or by clicking the Fix button in the bottom right corner

    • When attempting to fix invalid data, there will either be a text input or a dropdown with valid options to select. Enter the necessary data and click Save

    • Alternatively, if you would like to fix any data in the file itself, you may fix your file in a third party application and reupload the file by clicking the blue Reupload CSV button in the bottom right

  • When all data is valid or fixed, the blue Import button will be visible and able to be clicked

  • Click Import

  • The upload will take you back to the first page where there is a CSV Uploads table with your history of uploaded files. The table will tell you the status of your import

    • A Pending import means the application is still undergoing the import process and will complete at a later time. You do not need to remain on the page for any pending imports

    • Any imports that made it to the Review stage, but were not completed, will also be displayed in the table and can be completed at any time by clicking the blue Fix button for the corresponding import
